It Took A Lick'n

Chapel Hill was host to Signal, The Southeast
Electronic Music Festival, last weekend and
CareySound was there to prove once and for all that
their superior Electro-Voice sound systems had what
it takes to survive a two day, eight hour per day,
onslaught of electronic music.
The event was held in five different venues throughout the Chapel Hill community. John Carey (he comes by his 'pedal to the metal' mixing technique honestly) engineered the performances at the Nightlight venue with a modified version of our Club 300 rental system. The system featured the EV Zx5 fullrange loudspeakers with EV Qrx 118 subs on mains and EV Zx1's for monitors all powered with EV CP3000S amplifiers. As for the performance of the system for the two day torture-fest, let's just say, well be back again next year - by popular demand!
