December Begins With A Bang

It was a busy start to December. On Friday, downtown Greensboro's Hamburger Square Park was the scene of the annual 'Festival of Lights' celebration and once again CareySound was there to provide production assistance for the holiday revelers. The Dynacord Cobra system proved once again to be the perfect system for job. Activities on the main stage included Imani Institute Drum Corps, Wally & The Wassailers, Sing-a-long, Community Tree Lighting and the UNCG Tuba Ensemble. The weather was great for the thousands of people on hand for the 17th annual event.

Then on Saturday the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's college's student radio station, WUAG, presented their 3rd annual high energy fashion show 'Style in Stereo' in Cone Ballroom. Over 540 people attended the sold out event and listened to the musical stylings of The Never, Tiger Bear Wolf, The Illuninati and Psyche Origami. The Dynacord Cobra system was hard at work providing the muscle for the hard driving sounds of the night. Also on the scene was the new Electro-Voice Blue Series Cardinal vocal microphones and the new Zx1 loudspeakers for monitors. This event was part of 'WUAG Presents', an ongoing series of concerts presented by the station. For over two years, CareySound is proud to be an ongoing sponsor of this series.
