The scene - The Third Ward in Brooklyn.
The event - The Brunswick Art Project BAPLab 2006 with an attendance of over 3,000.
In the underground world of electronic music this was the place to be and be seen. Calmer, Helios, MachineDrum, Lusine, Ryan Elliott, A Drop in Silence - they were all there. The roster of artists included over 40 musicians on three stages.
The gear under fire for the event was all Dynacord and Electro-Voice. Sharing the limelight were the Dynacord Cobra, Xa and the venerable EV Manifold systems. They were provided by the tag team of CareySound of NC and Barry Scott's New York Sound & Visual.
times 7
hours

The challenge - to accurately reproduce punishing wave forms that are guaranteed to void even the most generous of warrantees , driven to punishing sound pressure levels for over seven solid hours in extreme heat & humidity and survive.
The results - the crowd sweated and danced, the windows shook, the building threw a mountain of debris over everything, the amps stayed in the red more often than not, the AC power throbbed and moaned
It could not have been a more punishing test under more severe conditions even if it had been at a summer outdoor rock concert at high noon in a dusty field in the heart of the south. The participants all went home happy and all of the gear performed flawlessly the entire night with NO DAMAGE.
Call us Now to discover Dynacord's secret weapon for survival and insist that all your gear is protected with this ingenious feat of engineering.
