O.K., so yes I want to brag and what better to brag about than one of your sons. James, who many of you may know as the second son of SoundMan, has been off to Memphis College of Art for the last three years and has been working around CareySound during his breaks, this summer being no exception. He has been studying photography and is a senior this year (and will be hitting the job market next spring - hint, hint for anyone looking for a photographer).

His brother John (first son of SoundMan) has featured some of James photos on his website twistedsun.net and after years of coaxing from his brother and I, he has finally added his voice to the world with the release of his own website www.pointofviewpoint.net. Even though I hear that the fishing is great in Minnesota there will be none of that for Tommy who is attending the BOSCH Communications Systems Academy for the week getting his IrisNet/NetMax certification. BOSCH provides these intensive training sessions throughout the year at it's corporate headquarters in Burnsville, MN. CareySound continually trains so you don't have too.

All things Apple and Steve's newest toy defiantly ranks high as a necessity, and yes, John and I stood in line on the first day with the rest of the Mac faithful. Even Tommy shared in the excitement and ran out to get his very own new iPhone too.

And speaking of Apple, I have had a few people ask how careysound.com is produced. On a Mac PowerBook of course. The web software is RapidWeaver with numerous plugins and hand coding by John. The photo's are taken with various Cannon EOS digital camera's with an occasional iPhone shot and are edited with IPhoto and ImageWell.
